GENEVIEVE App™ Dog Park

Terms of Use

Last updated: 14 July 2026

Draft for operational setup and professional review. Complete the public support contact, website/domain, production vendors and actual data flows before public paid launch.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By using the service, a user agrees to these terms and confirms that they are legally able to manage the relevant dog or have authority from the owner.

2. Owner responsibility

Users remain responsible for their dog, direct supervision, effective control, leads, waste collection, current registration and health obligations, signed boundaries, council rules and safe decisions. Check-in and check-out are voluntary community features unless a competent authority later adopts a verified requirement. Skipping the feature does not affect park access. Participating does not transfer care to GENEVIEVE App™ or a park operator.

3. Lead and gate journey

Where required by signs or law, dogs must remain on lead outside the designated off-leash boundary, including from the vehicle to the gate and again when leaving. Users must assess gate congestion and current conditions before release.

4. Voluntary live information

Displayed dog, owner, crowd and capacity figures are based on voluntary, time-limited user records and may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. They are not an official headcount or a guarantee that space is available.

5. Decision support

Compatibility, heat, puppy-socialisation, crowding, route and hazard outputs are estimates based on available information. They are not guarantees, veterinary diagnoses, legal advice or instructions to ignore current signs or professional advice.

6. User content and reports

Users must provide honest information, respect privacy, avoid harassment and must not use reports to decide liability or publish unsupported accusations. Incident, hazard and unattended-dog records may be moderated, corrected, restricted or disclosed where lawfully required.

7. Park operator tools

Operator and superintendent features support maintenance, notices, capacity and incident triage. They do not replace statutory duties, official records, emergency procedures or professional assessment.

8. Accounts and security

Users are responsible for protecting account access and promptly reporting suspected misuse. Production account rules will apply when authentication is enabled.

9. Suspension and changes

Access may be restricted for unsafe, fraudulent, unlawful or abusive use. Features and these terms may change with appropriate notice.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
